The Tams: Live at Shelton’s Vineyard 7/19/2008

August 12th, 2008

I’m uploading photos today from one of my favorite bands to see live. The Tams are one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. Forget those big bands doing huge shows for tens of thousands, the Tams give a more exciting show, and its much more intimate. I love it when Charles walks down into the crown of ladies and watch them all get “goo-goo-eyed”, or when Red does those splits up in the air… I’d like to see and current pop singer to that for their fans…

Hands down, The Tams Rock!

Now for the photos you’ve been waiting for:

Time to share!

Hello everyone and welcome to a wonderful new installment from the Projects… no pun intended. Well as you all must know, I’ve been working hard. Really hard. Like almost breaking a sweat kind of working hard. But as the saying goes, all work and no play makes Joe a dull boy. But what you didn’t know about that saying is the next line… “…but it got him a kick-butt camera!”

I just upgraded to a Canon 5D, and I must say, its an amazing camera. It makes me giggle and jump in my seat as i write this. Seriously people. Think about that one thing you’ve always wanted and how you acted when you finally got it. Its that nice. ok, enough mushy talk. On with the photos. These are all new, taken with my 5d.

Enjoy!

Oh yes, and if you’d like, you can even sign up for this nifty little journal and stop by and look at all my little projects as i finish them and comment on them. I’d enjoy the support from all of you!

Yesterday, i made my final finishing touches on www.jvagnone.com. Yes, on occasion i do website design too. Joe Vagnone is a family friend who came to me with this project. He’s becoming a business broker, and in Joe’s typical style, how they marketed him just wasn’t enough. With Joe, it always has to be bigger, better, and.. bad-assier…

So, check out the site and let me know what you think!

Jeff & Suha - 5/17/2008 - Wedding

June 4th, 2008

Hello all!

So in this entry you’ll notice that the date is the same as the previous one. I had two weddings on the same day! They were both small intimate ones so it wasn’t a big deal. However, this wedding was a friend’s wedding. I’ve known Suha for years. So when she called me and asked me to do her wedding, I couldn’t say no… Plus she told me, “Joe, you’re taking my photos, or no one’s taking my photos!” So my hands were tide! Everything was great though. The wedding took place at her mother’s house in Matthews, NC. Her sister Sommer did the catering and decorations, and it ended up being a very nice event. Jeff, who i hadn’t met till this day (they both live in Montreal, so its not like i can just meet them for drinks) was a great guy and from England. As a side note, there’s something about English accents that for what ever reason, i pick up very easily, so by the end of the night, i was speaking with the English accent. It was amusing to say the least. I wasn’t mocking him, it just happens that way! I swear!!

Anyway, here are a few photos from their wedding:

Pat & Norm - 5/17/2008 - Wedding

June 4th, 2008

This past May I had the pleasure of working with Pat & Norm, along with A Tasteful Solution catering. Candace Dumont did a great job taking this small but intimate wedding and making it just right for this couple. It all went down at the bride’s house in Mooresville, right off Lake Norman. Everything was done outside, and the weather was perfect for it. I’ll post a few photos here from their wedding for all of you to see.
